Some of the cards we finished in the Friday card class. We meet once a month, usually with a theme, this month's was spring. So interesting to see everyone's take on the them, all so different but all so great!
So much to share since it has been awhile since I posted. I have taken a card class, finished some capes for the grandkiddos, and finished three rag quilts-whew!My oldest grandson turned four on March 1 and since he loves spider man so much, I made him a superhero cape from spiderman material. So easy with a tutorial I found on the net! Of course if one is getting a cape, the little one (Matty, 2) has to have one also. So I made Matty a car cape-his favorite, except I cut off about five inches since he is so much shorter.

This Sunday, I am taking a Paris inspired canvas altered project class, I will post pictures once it is done. I have made New Year's affirmations to myself to take at least six artsy classes this year. In March I am taking the Paris altered class and also a Copic blending class-might as well learn to use the pens that I have spent bokuuu bucks on! In April, I am taking a free motion sewing/quilting class and I am not sure what I am going to do in May. At this rate, I should have no problem accomplishing my six classes for this year!
Lots of stuff in this post, but I did want to catch up since it doesn't seem that it has been that long since I posted, but looking at the date it has been a good three weeks-good grief!!!
